Senior PHP developers

Apocope is hiring highly motivated senior PHP developers to join our team of experts in Bourgogne in building a cutting edge framework which powers next generation mobile web sites.

This teams speciality is mobile cross platform layout and rendering techniques. In addition, we develop location based technologies, web service integration with mobile sites, iPhone applications and we are deeply involved in mission critical tools for automation in building, testing, and deploying software.

The work done by this team is used on projects for clients such as: National Citer, JC-Decaux, Le Figaro, Nespresso, Orange, Décathlon, Marionnaud, BNP Paribas,...

Requirements:
- extensive programming experience in PHP (strong OO skills needed)
- solid foundation in computer science, data structures, relational databases, and software design
- several years experience with Apache, Unix, advanced HTTP
- client side programming skills (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS etc.)
- experience with agile methods a plus

Our ideal candidate is skilled in TDD, refactoring, design patterns, dependency injection, test, build and deployment automation, web services, scripting (ruby, python, shell), Java and/or C programming. The candidate has a passion for creating software using agile methods and must have excellent communication skills, written and oral, in French and English.

The position is based in Saulieu with a possibility to telecommute from the surrounding area in Bourgogne.
